Acclaimed filmmakers Lokesh Kanagaraj and Lijo Jose Pellissery recently unveiled the first look poster of the upcoming Malayalam film Kadakan, starring Hakim Shahjahan in the lead role. The movie will be out on March 1st.
The makers of the Malayalam film Kadakan released its trailer today (February 20). It shows a glimpse into the lead actor Hakkim Shajahan’s power-packed performance in this film. The trailer suggests that Kadakan contains action and emotional scenes of its own, which enhances the movie’s appeal.
The two-minute and nineteen-second video suggests that the film revolves around the lives of residents of a particular region in Malappuram. Additionally, it depicts Hakkim and Manikandan’s characters as perpetually having ego conflicts that escalate into physical altercations.
Dulquer Salmaan’s banner, Wayfarer Films, had announced that it would be distributing the film in theatres across the state. The movie was censored with a UA certificate. Bankrolled by Khaleel Hameed Under the banner of Kadathanadan Cinemas, Kadakan is directed by debutant Sajil Mampad, who also penned the film’s story. The film has a screenplay written by Bodhi and Sasi Kumar Mampad.
Kadakan has Jazin Jaseel cranking the camera and editing by Shameer Muhammed. Gopi Sundar handles the film’s music and background score. Hakkim has two upcoming films in various stages of production, including Bazooka, starring Mammootty and an untitled movie directed by Shanavas K Bavakutty.
