Tamil Superstar Dhanush had four releases this year is currently looking up for his next film, Vaathi (Sir in Telugu) which will hit the screens on February 17. This bilingual film, directed by Venky Atluri was supposed to release in long back, but the makers decided to postpone their plans many times and at last decided to release in February.
Samyuktha Menon is playing the female lead in the film. GV Prakash scoring music for it. Vaathi is Dhanush’s first Telugu straight film and to have a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu.
On the professional front, he is currently working on Matheswaran’s action adventure Captain Miller. Along this, he has Sekhar Kammula’s movie in his pipeline.
Since there are reports that he will join hands with H Vinoth, who is busy with the post production works of Ajith’s Thunivu. As per latest buzz, the duo has teamed up finally for a new project. The project will be bankrolled by 7 green studios. An official announcement on this project is expected soon.
