Sita Ramam
Hanu Raghavapudi has a different style in showing a love story. His previous films ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’, ‘Andala Rakshasi’, ‘Krishna Gadi veera prema gadha’ etc still belong to classic love stories. One such love story is ‘Sita Ramam’. This film has a separate fan base and is loved by millions of viewers.
Sita Ramam is a periodic love story casting Mrunal Thakur and Dulquer Salman in lead roles. The love story between a princess and a commoner is depicted well. The sensitive feelings to the biggest battles, everything was picturized well in the flick. The music of Vishal Chandrashekar added beauty to the essence of love in the film.
The story starts with a mystery letter that is written to Sita by Ram. A Pakistan Army officer gives the responsibility to his granddaughter, Afreen of sending the letter to Sita. In order to send the letter, Afreen learns mysterious things about Sita and Ram.
When Ram saves a village from a big danger and makes the relationship between Hindus and Muslims better. This act leads to getting many strangers as relatives to Ram, who is an orphan. One such letter is from the princess without revealing her identity.
Sita writes letters to Ram regularly her words have run the chemistry between them and made ways to glorify their love for each other. Ram somehow finds a way to meet his Sita and met him. When the way of communication is lost, Sita comes to meet Ram, and where their love story starts growing. After spending a few days with each other, Ram proposes to Sita. But, Sita couldn’t say yes even though she was waiting to say yes because She is a princess.
The distance between them increases their love for each other so Sita rejects her marriage proposal with a prince for the love of a commoner. She leaves everyone and goes to Ram with extreme happiness and love forever.
That happiness didn’t last for long, Ram goes missing on a secret mission and gets prisoned by Pakistan Army but ends up being a culprit in the minds of the Indian Army. Sita leads the rest of her life with the memories of Ram and to prove that Ram is innocent. Afreen manages to give the letter and gets the respect of the Indian army back for Ram.
The love story deals with a lot of feelings between the princess and the army officer. They break each other’s barriers to be together with such a pure form of love. In the end, the love story ended when Ram died. But the love didn’t end there. Sita feels Ram everywhere she is and even in the air. Sita keeps on writing letters for Ram believing that one day Ram would come to her.
This film once again proved that Love stories end but Love doesn’t end.
