The prequel of Karthikeya was a supernatural mystery film that spoke about beliefs and science. Taking on yet another adventure will be the sequel, Karthikeya 2. The Telugu actor Nikhil Siddhartha is expected to reprise the role of Karthikeya, whereas Anupama Parameswaran and Srinivas Reddy form a team who set out on this novel adventure. The motion poster, which was released, bagged positive responses from the audience. Today, the makers have planned to release the theatrical trailer of the film grandly. They have announced that the trailer will be unveiled at 05:40 PM today at AMB Cinemas in Hyderabad. A brand new poster has been released to announce the same.
The film will see Nikhil Siddhartha portray the character of a doctor. T.G. Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal, under their banners of People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts, have bankrolled the project. The plot is set against the backdrop of events dating back 5000 years. Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is also part of the star cast and will be seen in a crucial role.
