Ameesha Patel is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi and Telugu films. She made her acting debut in 2000 with the romantic thriller film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai.
Ameesha Patel had many controversies. One of the controversies is, reportedly, in 2018 Ameesha Patel traveled to Ranchi to attend an event at the Harmu Ground, where she met Ajay Kumar Singh.
She discussed with him the financing of a film, after which Ajay invested in the filmmaking project but Ameesha and her associate Krunal never completed the film’s shoot and promised to return the borrowed amount of Rs 2.5 crore along with an interest of Rs 50 lakh but the check she gave bounced back after which Ajay filed a against the actress.
The actress surrendered herself to the Ranchi Civil Court in connection with a 2018 cheque bounce case. Reportedly, the actress was accused of cheating film producer Ajay Kumar Singh of Rs 3 crore.
Ameesha surrendered herself before the Ranchi Civil Court in connection with the 2018 cheque bounce case on Saturday. Later, the court granted her conditional bail, and the actress was asked to physically appear in front of the court on 21st June.
A video is going viral on social media that shows the actress leaving the court with her face covered while the photographers and media surrounded her and asked her questions but the actress was seen entering her car and leaving.
