Cirkus is a Hindi film directed and produced by Rohit Shetty. The movie is mutually produced by Rohit Shetty and T-series. It stars Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma in dual roles with Pooja Hegde and Jaqueline Fernandez as the main leads. It was the remake of the 1982 Hindi film ‘Angoor’. The movie was theatrically released on 23 December 2022.
The plot revolves around Identical twins. After finding the identical twins at the doorstep, DR Jamnadas gives them up for adoption into two different families in two different cities. After many years, a comedy of errors happens when one set of twins decides to visit the city where the other set of twins does a circus.
The movie was a great disaster as the budget was 120 crores and it only earned 40 crores.
For the first time, Pooja Hegde reacts to the failure of ‘Cirkus‘. Recently, in a chat show, Pooja Hegde admitted that the failure of the film did upset her a little bit, as she considered the film, a little baby to her.
