Rebel Star Prabhas got worldwide fame with the movie ‘Baahubali’. His next movies after Baahubali are Saaho and Radheshyam. The audience had high expectations from these films but both these movies got flop. Now Prabhas has to give a hit at any cost to maintain his fame. He has a few upcoming projects like Salaar, Adipurush and Project K.
Adipurush is an Indian mythological film based on the Sanskrit epic Ramayana. The film is directed by Om Raut. Kriti Sanon is playing the lead actress and Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh and Vatsal Sheth are playing important roles.
The filmmakers released the teaser of the film last year which got a lot of backlash from the audience. Especially because of its cartoonish VFXs and Prabhas’s looks. Netizens trolled the Adipurush teaser so badly on social media that led the makers of the film to postpone the film and send it again under the work of graphics and VFXs which also increased the cost of production of Adipurush.
Recently, the makers released another poster of the film on the occasion of Srirama Navami. The complaint is filed by Sanjay Dinanath Tiwari who described himself as the preacher of Sanathana Dharma. It also claims that Ram is in a costume contrary to the natural spirit and nature of Ramcharitmanas mentioned in the Hindu scripture. It also claims that all the characters in Adipurush are shown without the janeu (which is the holy thread worn across the body) and that it is hurting Hindu sentiments. Seems like Adipurush is going to face problems till its release.
