Comedians settling down as heroes have never happened in Telugu Film Industry’s history. Even Ali and Brahmanandam tried to have a shot at the hero’s role, which backfired, and they came back ASAP to their comedy roles and were happy. But comedian Sunil took a lot of time to find this out, and as a result, before he was back, his place was occupied by many others like Vennela Kishore, Srinivasa Reddy, Priyadarshi, Rahul Ravindran, etc. Now Sunil wants his position back. With F3, they say that he is back to his best. Along with comedy roles, Pushpa opened Antagonist roles too for the seasoned actor. It looks like he is following senior actor Kota Srinivasa Rao who was also lauded in his performance in versatile roles.
In a recent interview, Sunil opened up that his role in Shankar’s RC15 will be a very special one. “I never played a role like this earlier. It’s going to be very different at. First, i didn’t even hear what my role is about. Since it’s Shankar’s movie, I was ready to do it. I’ll be seen throughout the movie along with Charan and I’m sure this character will bring me more fame” said the hero cum comedian. Meanwhile, his role in Pushpa 2 the rule will also be compelling, says the makers. Overall, it seems Sunil is finally back!
