Film Workers Massive strike: Shootings Stop From Tomorrow

The Film Industry workers are protesting against inadequate payment of wages and lack of regulation relating to working hours. The apex film body, which heads the 22 film craft associations, has threatened to go on strike after many days of waiting for cine workers for wage increment.

It is heard that most producers are unwilling to shell out money to pay skilled labor. Taking this seriously, 24 union members are ready to impose pressure on the federation for their wage increment. Declaring the same, film workers will not attend the shootings from tomorrow until their wages are raised.

Meanwhile, this massive strike would halt the filming of all Telugu films until the problem is resolved. So shooting schedules of television shows and movies could be affected a lot for a few days as cine workers go on an indefinite strike.
