Fighter box office
Fighter had a significant surge on Saturday following weeks of lacklustre reception at the domestic box office. According to Sacnilk.com, the aerial action picture starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor as Indian Air Force personnel grossed an estimated ₹10.5 crore nett in India on day 10.
According to the platform, Fighter collected ₹5.75 crore nett on day 9, bringing its India total to about ₹162.75 crore nett. On its debut Friday, Fighter grossed ₹39.5 crore nett in India, up from ₹22.5 crore on January 25. The fighter earned ₹27.5 crore nett on Saturday, ₹29 crore nett on Sunday, ₹8 crore nett on Monday, ₹7.5 crore nett on Tuesday, and ₹6.5 crore.
The Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer was released on 25th January to a positive response and Siddharth Anand, Jyoti Deshpande, Ajit Andhare, Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb and Anku Pande were made with an estimated budget of Rs 250 crore and earned more than Rs 262 worldwide. The film was banned in gulf countries and Netflix acquired the streaming rights. Ariel’s actioner underperformed than expected and still needs to achieve breakeven.
