Astro is one of the top Kpop Bands in Korea with the death of Moon Bin a former member of the band, the stans and the other members of the band, were moved to tears. Moon Bin passed away at the age of 25 on April 19th 2023. Astro encompasses other members like Cha Eun Woo, Jin Jin, Sanha, and MJ.
The agency has been sharing various updates and dismissing the rumours since April 20th. Recently it was reported that Sanha and Moonbin’s Weverse is set to be closed by the end of April. Sanha and the late Kpop idol were believed to have a strong bond and were also appreciated for their collaborations. Moonbin’s death shook not just the fans in Korea but also from various parts of the globe.
Moonbin’s memorial service has been shifted to Fantagio’s rooftop and will remain open till June 9th, marking the 49th day of Moonbin’s death anniversary. The agency also informed that they will preserve all the gifts and letters the late actor has received so far as the articles the fans have been presenting are so dear to the late Kpop idol.
According to the Buddist traditions it is believed that the soul takes 49 days to reach the afterlife and this tradition of having a 49-day memorial service is widely followed in South Korea.
