Akkineni Nagarjuna is stuck with back-to-back flops and Akkineni fans are a lot worried as even Chaitu and Akhil have no recent hits. While every Akkineni fan is eager for success, Nagarjuna’s recent decision is making fans more upset. The reason for it was that the actor chose a flop director over the successful one.
Ajay Bhupathi, the protege of Ram Gopal Varma, scored a hit with RX 100 starring Karthikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput. But later Ajay’s film Maha Samudram starring Sharwanand and Siddhartha bagged a disaster at the box office. Now the director is all set to make his comeback with Mangalavaram with Payal Rajput.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that he is going to direct none other than Nagarjuna. It is heard that the director impressed Nagarjuna with a story and Nag readily agreed to do the film. The yet-to-be-titled movie is going to be bankrolled by Custody producer Srinivasaa Chitturi jointly with Annapurna Studios.
Earlier, it is heard that Nag had given his go-ahead for writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada of Dhamaka fame. But now as per buzz, Nagarjuna next will be with Ajay Bhupati whose last film stood as a debacle rather than Prasanna Kumar whose last film Dhaka was a super hit.
