Another fun riot from the pen of Ani Ravipudi, F3 is being released this Friday. As the movie’s producer Dil Raju himself has announced in a lot of interviews and short videos that there will be no rise in the ticket prices, the movie team thought that the collections will be sky high and advance bookings will be house full. Coming to reality, that’s not the case. The unexpected slow response to the advance bookings in both states comes as a shock to the movie makers. Even the theatres which generally had great first days in the past are looking half empty.
Though this worries the team, it’s being said that Dil Raju is instilling confidence in them. The high rates still continuing can be the reason behind this drop says the trade pundits. Right now the normal ticket price in Nizam is Rs 295 in Multiplexes and Rs 175 on single screens. Even though DIl Raju said that they are not hiking the ticket prices, how can one watch a movie at the cost of Rs 295 per head? Considering the tax, the final price can be around Rs 321 which is definitely not normal for the middle-class audience.
Meanwhile, the sensor talk of the film is out. The last 20mins of F3 is a laugh riot says the sensor board sources but some section of people may find that overdose laugher to be uncomfortable, they say. In general, many comedy scenes are talked about for years only after the movie is gone from theatres. Examples like Venky, Sontham, Anjaneyulu, Adurs etc come into this category. There may be a danger for Anil Ravipudi’s directorial joining that list. Sequel to the superhit F2, F3 stars Victory Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah Bhatia, Mehreen Pirzada in lead roles. Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore and Sunil will also be seen in key roles in this Dil Raju production.cine
