‘End of chapter for us’, BTS’ V and Jimin! Read on for specifics

V and Jimin of BTS discuss the moment that felt like the “climax” of everything in their song “End of the chapter for us.” “Every song seemed to be the last, and every scene was the climax.” BTS discusses her struggles with mental health and her anxiety about the previous concert.

The South Korean boy band BTS’s documentary series, Monuments Beyond the Star, delves into the unseen and unspoken journey of the K-pop idols. The show deftly details the hardships they faced, including the discovery that the group was once on the verge of dissolving, as the world watches their rise to fame. V and Jimin have now added to Jungkook and J-Hope’s revelations regarding BTS’s contemplation of splitting up, providing insight into what felt like the “end.”

Bang Si Hyuk had earlier informed BTS that there would be no more concerts due to the pandemic, which made them very sad. Jungkook even questioned what he had to anticipate. When they were allowed to play at the Los Angeles SoFi Stadium a few months later, they were ecstatic. But they couldn’t shake a fear that lingered throughout the show: what if this was their final performance? What if everything changed drastically and they were never able to travel and perform abroad again? Its concern had an impact on their mental state.

“This concert was very precious and an important time for the seven of us,” the Layover singer said in the fifth episode, following BTS’s powerful performance of “Fire.” “This concert was really like the end of a chapter for us, I hope it was as memorable for ARMY as it was for us,” he continues, adding that they were relieved to finally have the opportunity to perform after going through a lot.
