India is basking in the success of Naatu Naatu winning the Best Original Song Award at Oscars 2023 and MM Keeravani delivering his musical acceptance speech. While most of the core team members of RRR, including lead actors Ram Charan, Jr NTR, filmmaker SS Rajamouli, costume designer Rama Rajamouli, ex-producer SS Karthikeya, singers Kaala Bhairava, Rahul Sipligunj, lyricist Chandrabose, and choreographer Prem Rakshit were present at the Awards ceremony yesterday, the absence of producer DVV Danayya’s absence has led to rumors of a tiff between him and director SS Rajamouli.
For many days, this rumor was in existence as Rajamouli never got the producer’s name in any of the award ceremonies. However, finally today producer DVV Danayya spoke to the media about RRR and its team.
“I’m not actually in touch with Rajamouli or Ram Charan or anyone from RRR. I’m happy that a song in a film produced by me fetched an Oscar award. Would make some more best films in the coming days” Danayya said, much to anyone’s shocker.
However, speculations are rife that, Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda, along with Rajamouli’s family, bore all the expenses at the Oscars, and Danayya was not at all interested in spending any amount for the Oscars and it’s the reason Rajamouli kept him away.
