Dr Romantic is a South Korean television drama series starring Han Suk-kyu as the title character.it is a medical drama that stars Yoo Yeon-Seok, Seo Hyun-jin in the first season and Ahn Hyo-Seop, Lee Sung-Kyung in the second and third seasons. The plot revolves around Han Suk-kyu, who is a genius doctor, a triple-board certified surgeon, who was once at the top of his field and used to work at Seoul’s top medical center, Geosan University Hospital. After a traumatic incident, he disappears and changes his name to Kim Sa-bu.
The first season aired on SBS TV from November 7, 2016, to January 16, 2017, and the second season aired from January 6 to February 25, 2020. the first season gained a positive response recording over 20% in ratings. also, it received a positive response for its plot and for Han Suk-kyu’s performance.
The 3rd teaser was out recently and it received a positive response. In the teaser, Dr Kim was seen stating ‘Im the one who sets my mind on one thing, because of that I may seem reckless to some people and I may seem dangerous to others but, I put only one thought in my head before I begin: I’m going to save this patient. It’s going to start again Soon’. The teaser seems promising that stars Han Suk-kyu, Ahn Hyo-Seop, Lee Sung-Kyung, Byun Woo-min, Jung Ji-an, Im Won-hee, Jin Kyung, So Joo-Yeon, Yoon Na-moo, Kim Min-Jae, Shin Dong-Wook, Yoon Bora, Lee Shin-young and Lee Hong-Nae.
The most anticipated show is all set to Premiere on 28, April 2023 and will air every Friday and Saturday at 22:00 (KST) It is also available for streaming on Viu in selected regions.
Apart from this, another Korean drama ‘Dr. Cha’ is airing tomorrow. It will air from 15th April to June 4th on Saturday and Sunday. It includes a total of 16 episodes.
