On the occasion of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s birthday, Prithviraj Sukumaran was the first to wish him on the social media. On this special occasion, Prithviraj who’s also Lalettan’s recent blockbuster Lucifer director wished him releasing the first look teaser on Twitter.

Prithviraj Sukumaran has announced about making the sequel of Lucifer with Mohanlal for which the project got titled “Empuraan”. Since the announcement of the second part, fans have been anticipating about the output of project from Lalettan. Prithviraj sukumaran is leaving no stone about the updates regarding the schedules of project. Murali Gopi has also written the sequel story continuing the storyline from Lucifer. While Mohanlal’s own production house produced the movie Lucifer, this time Ashirvad productions owner cum actor Mohanlal is collaborating with Hombale films which produced 100 crores blockbusters like KGF sequels, Kantara as per the official announcement made today on the occasion of Lalettan’s birthday. Mohanlal is called Lalettan among fans dearly and is celebrating his 63rd birthday.
Empuraan talks about the story of Stephen Nedumpally unfolding Abram Khureshi past which is played by the actor. Talking about the movie, director Prithviraj Sukumaran said, “Empuraan will be bigger than Lucifer as audience are anticipating highly about the movie after making its prequel Lucifer a success in theatres. Empuraan will be considered as a star cast commercial entertainer and we’ll update about the project actively”
