Farhan Akhtar on Jee Le Zara and Don 3
Bollywood actor, director, and producer Farhan Akhtar is coming up with many exciting projects in front of an audience. The Bhaag Milka Bhaag actor announced about Don franchise featuring Ranveer Singh as the main lead replacing Shah Rukh Khan.
However, Jee Le Zaraa starring Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, and Priyank Chopra is long back announced but had no further details about the start of the movie except for some rumors of it being shelved.
Farhan opened up about the plan of taking these projects onto floors. He said he is waiting for the dates to align before he starts with Jee Le Zaraa and since the announcement, it’s not been easy at all. Currently, his focus is on Don 3 and then he’ll commence shooting for Jee Le Zaraa.
Further adding about directing these movies, the actor said, “I’m also doing two films next year before we get into Don 3, as an actor. In January, I will start a film that is being produced by Aamir Khan Productions. It’s being directed by RS Prasanna, who directed Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. He’s a great director. Then I will do another film for Excel Entertainment, which will start roughly in June or July. And then I get into directing Don 3”.
There were speculations about the movie Jee Le Zaraa that Priyanka Chopra has opted out of due to the unavailability of dates but during Made In Heaven 2 promotions, co-producer, and co-writer Reema Kagti clarified about the film will go on to the floors with the same cast and is not shelved but are waiting for the aligned dates.
