Star producer Dil Raju is not only producing big films. He also produces small-budget films under his banner if he was convinced by the script. It is said that there is no one better than Dil Raju in Tollywood in terms of budget. Jabardasth comedian Venu made his debut as a director with Balagam. Priyadarshi is playing the lead role in this film.
The film hit the screens on Friday. From the day of its release, the film was unexpectedly caught in a copyright dispute. Satish Gaddam, a journalist from a leading daily, came on the screen saying the story of Balagam belongs to him. This controversy has become a hot topic as he is also showing proof that this is his story.
Gaddam Satish told the media. When I saw the movie, I wondered if this was my story. Balagam’s story was written by me in 2011 under the name ‘Pachiki’. The story was published in a popular magazine in 2014.
With that story, Venu and Dil Raju made the movie Balagam. Only a few minor changes have been made. Satish alleges that 90 percent of the story is the same. Gaddam Satish said, While choosing a story it is Dil Raju’s responsibility as a producer to look at the source of that story.
Satish demands to give credit for the story in Balagam. Otherwise, he warned that he would be ready to take legal action. The movie Balagam released on Friday is getting a good response from the audience. Harshit Reddy and Hansita produced this film under the banner of Dil Raju Productions.
