Dil Raju became anti-Ajith fans as he recently said Vijay is a more giant star than Ajith Kumar. But to keep the controversy or to bag profits, the producer cum distributor is now ready to distribute Thunivu in the Telugu market. Interestingly, the film will compete with his production house release Varisu.
Boney Kapoor produces Thunivu. Now, Dil Raju is set to distribute Thegimpu, its Telugu-dubbed version, in the Vizag and Nizam areas. This is a surprising move given that Chiru’s Waltair Veerayya and NBK’s Veera Simha Reddy are already fighting it out with Vijay’s Varisu for screens in the market at the same time Thunivu release.
Thunivu is an action-thriller that features Ajith Kumar in an intense new avatar. The actor is reportedly set to play a character with shades of grey in a biggie. Thunivu features Manju Warrier as the leading lady.
Coming to Varisu, it will be released on January 12, and the bookings for the film’s USA premieres opened recently. Helmed by Vamshi Paidipally, Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna play leading roles in ‘Varisu’. At the same time, the emotional family drama also has Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Meena, Khushbu, Jayasudha, Yogi Babu, and Shaam among others.
