We have seen a bunch of movies that were meant for a star hero but were made with another hero. Scripts changing hands is quite common in the film industry. Talking about one such incident, a star hero missed out on a great opportunity of starring in the blockbuster film, ‘Darling’.
Young Rebel Star Prabhas and Kajal Agarwal played the leads in the movie which became a blockbuster. Directed by Karunakaran, Prabhas was not the first option for the film. It seems like the film reportedly went to Stylish Star Allu Arjun at first.
But, after listening to the script, Bunny felt that the script might not work for him as there are no mass elements in the story. Later the film went to Prabhas who immediately grabbed it and the film became one of his biggest hits.
In fact, Prabhas’s mass image also changed with this success and the movie sure became a game-changer for him and his career. Now, the fans are wondering what if Allu Arjun actually accepted the role and played the lead. However, now the fans are not ready to think of another hero in the place of Prabhas in ‘Darling’ as the ‘Baahubali’ actor has pulled off his role really well.
