Directed by Ashima Chibber, the film has mixed responses from critics and audiences. The movie is inspired by the real-life story of Sagarika Chakraborty, whose kids were taken away by the Norway authorities.

In one of her past interviews, the actress revealed the surprising story of her birth. Talking about the story, Rani said that when she was born, she got stuck in a Punjabi couple’s room. The actress added that her mother saw another baby and instantly realized that it wasn’t her baby. ‘ My mother told the doctors that her daughter had brown eyes and asked them to go look for me. She then got me from that Punjabi family. The Punjabi family who had me was having a baby girl for the eighth time, she added. The actress also revealed that still people in her family joke that she is actually a Punjabi and that they got here by mistake.
This throwback story was going viral on social media as it looks interesting and people are excited to know whether Rani Mukherjee really is the daughter of film director-producer Ram Mukherjee and Krishna Mukherjee.
