During Vaishnav Tej’s last movie Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga‘s pre-release event, Sai Dharam Tej‘s emotional speech at the event has become a talking point on social media. Sai Tej recollected his accident last year and became emotional about how his brother Vaisshnav Tej stood by him as rock-solid support. However, many social media users commented that the actor was drunk during the event and his voice also sounded a bit different. Then Tej said that he didn’t consume any 90 ML to come to the event, and he doesn’t have the habit of drinking alcohol.
Now, again Sai Dharam Tej who is busy with Virupaksha promotions opened up on the same issue and explained the reason for his words at that event indirectly.
It is known that Sai Tej met with an accident in September 2021 and he had to take rest for more than six months. Talking about this as well Sai said that he made himself occupied with so many activities while he was at home. Sai Tej said that whenever he opened social media, Sai Tej used to come across nasty comments. People used to ask him whether his career is over or has he retired.
The actor also said that he learnt the power of words during this healing period. “Even after recovering, I couldn’t speak properly and I used to stammer. But the people around me and my co-actors supported me a lot. They used to ask me to repeat my words whenever they failed to understand. But netizens on social media use to troll me by saying, ‘Are you drunk'”, the actor added.
Sai Dharam Tej’s latest upcoming movie Virupaksha is his first pan-Indian film, set to release on April 21, 2023, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The film’s story and screenplay are provided by Sukumar, while the film is produced by BVSN Prasad under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra.
