Devara’s North Rights sold, All set for Pan Indian release?

Telugu cinema superstar Jr. NTR is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated film, “Devara: Part 1.” Directed by the acclaimed Koratala Siva, the movie promises to be a thrilling action drama set against the backdrop of coastal landscapes.

While plot details are under wraps, sources describe “Devara: Part 1” as an epic saga filled with “rip-roaring, emotionally charged incidents.” Jr. NTR takes centre stage as the protagonist, a character destined to be both a saviour to the oppressed and a formidable force against evil.

This is not just another action flick, however. Siva, known for his ability to weave social commentary into his narratives, is likely to infuse “Devara: Part 1” with depth and purpose.

The film boasts a stellar cast alongside NTR. Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are pegged for prominent roles, while Prakash Raj and Meka Srikanth add further weight to the ensemble. Anirudh Ravichander composes the music, R. Rathnavelu handles the cinematography, and A. Sreekar Prasad handles the editing.

Devara release:

Originally envisioned as a single film, “Devara” was announced as a two-part series in October 2023. This format allows the director to delve deeper into the story and develop the characters more fully.

After facing minor delays, production for “Devara: Part 1” began in March 2023. Filming took place in Hyderabad and Goa, and the first part is set for a theatrical release on October 10, 2024, coinciding with the Dussehra festival.

Now, Karan Johar & Anil Thadani bought the North India theatrical rights of the film. Fans are Expecting a very good release up north. This film is all set for the Pan Indian release on 10th of October 2024.
