Deepika Padukone addresses the time when she witnessed people being discriminated against on sets.
In one of the old interviews, Deepika Padukone shares her experience as an outsider as she witnesses the way people are discriminated against in terms of food on the set.
“There is a separate A-catering and B-catering what does that even mean? Food is food and everyone should have access to good food, nutritious food. Being a complete outsider and having a fresh perspective, to being on set and just sitting and watching what is happening at one end of the spectrum and also, watching what is happening at the other end of the spectrum.”, she further added, ” It’s a choice you make you can either choose to ignore and say it’s not my problem, I don’t care and I am getting paid for my job and move on, or you can say you know what, if and when, it I have the power to do something I will.” Shared Deepika Padukone.
