Getting death threats is one of the major issues that individuals in the limelight have to confront.
Bollywood’s bhai Salman Khan has been receiving death threats for a long time now. His immense popularity earned him die hard fans but he also gained enemies. Recently, threats under the name of gangster Goldy Brar were sent to the actor’s close friend. The police authorities were alerted and security for Salman Khan was increased.
Now, there is an unexpected development in the case. The death threats were not sent by any gangster but were actually from a Haryana student studying in the United Kingdom. Turns out, the student was partying and as a prank, he directed the death threats to the actor. The Mumbai Police have issued a lookout circular for the suspect. According to officials, the identity of the suspect has not been revealed yet as the legal process to get him extradited to India is still underway.
Speaking about the threats in a recent interview, the actor shared, “Security is better than insecurity. Yes, security is there. Now it is not possible to ride a bicycle on the road and go alone anywhere. And more than that, now I have this problem that when I am in this problem that when I am in traffic, then there is so much security, vehicles creating inconvenience to other people. They also give me a look. And my poor fans. There is a serious threat, that’s why there is security”.
On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan alongside Venkatesh and Pooja Hedge. For the future, Salman Khan has an exciting line up of movies such as Tiger 3, Tiger vs Pathaan, Prem Ki Shaadi, etc.
