The latest blockbuster Dasara directed by debutant director Srinkanth Odela starring Nani and Keerthy Suresh was in the news again. This movie gathered lots of attention and craze even before its release. The posters, teasers, songs and trailer of the film increased the enthusiasm and expectations of the film.
The movie started to create records even before its theoretical release. The movie’s digital and theoretical rights were sold at a whopping price. Apart from that Nani’s made so many efforts in promoting the film nationwide. After the release, all his efforts for the movie and Nani’s trust in Srikanth Odela paid off more than expected.
The movie made a bang at the box office right from its first day. The movie collected a total of 38+ crores on its first day. But the movie collections are a bit slow on its second due to the effect of IPL. Apart from that there is no strong competition for the movie in theatres.
This movie already entered the million dollar club overseas and now Nani’s Dasara bags another record and enters the 100 crore club making Nani’s first ever 100 crore movie in his career. It also holds another record as the fastest movie ever to reach 100 crores starring a tier two hero.
Let us wait to see whether the upcoming movie Ravi Teja’s Ravanasura hits brakes for Dasara or Dasara effects Ravanasura’s collections from tomorrow.
