Chiyaan Vikram’s most anticipated raw action film Thangalaan is gearing up for its release in theaters in April this year. Since the teaser’s release, the film has been making waves on social media for its bold cinematography.
Thangalaan is set under British rule in India, in the Kolar Gold Field, and follows Thangalam, a tribal rebel who goes on a valiant struggle against the British, after they plot to seize his land for gold mining. The film deals with oppression like Pa Ranjith’s other films. The film seems to Sparta like a warrior tribe 2007 movie Apocalypto.
The raw and bold action drama film has been shot on a large scale to express originality and depth. Now it is rumored that the period drama film is based on the Kolar Gold Fields and its existence.
The industry is looking forward to the release of the film, as 2024 has been an underwhelming year so far. South movie lovers are waiting for action films and the historical action drama film is slated for worldwide release in April 2024 in theatres in Telugu Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
