Megastar Chiranjeevi is enjoying the success of his new film Waltair Veerayya. The film is performing exceptionally well in all the centres where it was released. However, the film opened to fewer ratings from the critics but the audience has given a thumbs-up to the movie. Chiranjeevi is working hard to come up with a series of interesting films and at a recent event, he came up with his own satire on the film’s ratings.
It is to be noted that most of the websites in Telugu have given 2.25 and 2.5 as the rating for the film. However, the film’s performance differs from the ratings given by critics.
Not to hurt anyone, Chiranjeevi said that these ratings translated as the film’s collections in the form of 2.25 million and 2.5 million. This is his way of not only posing a satire at ratings but also making a healthy statement on the reviews from the critics.
Shruthi Haasan played the female lead in the film Waltair Veerayya. Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled the project.
