Chiranjeevi-Ravi Teja’s film crosses Rs 200 CR worldwide.

Chiranjeevi’s latest Telugu film has a dream run at the box office. Directed by Bobby, the film, released last week on the occasion of Sankranti, has grossed over Rs 150 crore worldwide in a week.

Now, as a surprise, in 10 days, the film collected Rs 200 crores gross. The makers released an official poster today marking the same. As per film trade analysts, it’s set to emerge as the highest-grossing movie in Chiranjeevi’s career.

The messy drama has Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and Catherine Tresa in key roles. Bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar and co-produced by G K Mohan under the banner, Mythri Movie Makers, the film opens on January 13. The Telugu original and the dubbed Hindi version will arrive on the same day with the same title. While Bobby wrote the story and dialogue, Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy penned the screenplay. The writing department also includes Hari Mohana Krishna and Vineeth Potluri.

Waltair Veerayya was released alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy. Despite the clash at the box office, both films have managed to perform equally well.
