Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is back to his hit form with his latest film Dhamaka. This Ravi Teja mark action-comedy entertainer is written and directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and opened to a divided response at the box office on December 23. The movie stars actress Sreeleela as the female lead opposite Ravi Teja.
However, the mixed response has in no way affected the collection of the movie. Ravi Teja’s trademark performance, timing, dialogue delivery, and style are the elements that worked for the film and overall the film bagged 32 crores gross in three days worldwide.
Meanwhile, Nikhil and Anupama’s 18 pages also opened to mixed response on December 23rd and worked out dull at the box office on its first day. Despite Sukumar’s writings, the film hasn’t gotten much positive talk. However, the film did well on its third day compared to its first day and finally collected 11 crores in three days worldwide.
Interestingly, 18-page makers stated that the film reached profits through the non-theatrical rights itself and whatever it makes from its theatrical run is a bonus. So there isn’t much emphasis on this front for the makers.
The film is directed by Palnati Surya Pratap and marks his third directorial project after Current and Kumari 21F.
