Superstar Rajinikanth’s Chandramukhi is one of the unforgettable films in his career. The movie created history at box-office with its tremendous story line and fabulous performances of artists, mainly Jyothika.
Since its release, many rumours have taken place that the film is going to have a sequel soon. Proving it, Venkatesh Nagavalli claimed to be part 2 of Chandramukhi and got released a few days back. However, starring Victory Venkatesh, this film bagged disaster as an anatomy to Chandramukhi success.
Now, to continue the glory of the actual Chandramukhi hit, the other actor Raghava Lawrence, popular for acting in horror thrillers signed Chandramukhi 2 with the same makers of Chandramukhi.
The film is being directed by P Vasu, who helmed Chandramukhi and Nagavalli. The latest buzz about the movie is that the first schedule has been wrapped up in Mysore earlier today. It is also heard that the second schedule will start by this month’s end or probably by next month’s start. Reportedly, makers are planning to release this film in January, 2023.

Lakshmi Menon is playing the leading lady in the film, while MM Keeravani is said to score music for this horror thriller. Interestingly, Two-time National Award winner Thotta Tharani, who also worked on ‘Chandramukhi’, is the art director for the sequel.
