It seems like Yash Raj film’s movie, Pathaan, cannot get over controversies. Previously, netizens pointed fingers towards its first song, ‘Besharam Rang’, for its visuals, and now the makers are advised to implement a few changes in the film by the censor board.
Prasoon Joshi, the chairperson of the CBFC examination committee for certification, stated, “Just to put all queries around the film Pathaan at rest: The film recently reached the CBFC examination committee for certification.”
The chairman of the censor board also voiced, “To calm all the questions related to the film Pathan, let me tell you that this film had recently reached the CBFC Examination Committee for certification and went through the prescribed screening process”.
This controversial movie Pathaan stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles and is set to release theatrically on 25 January 2023. The film was written and directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films.
The movie has already faced massive backlash from netizens along with the boycott trend on Twitter. Many cybernauts also said to boycott SRK from the industry.
