Mari Selvaraj is one of the Tamil film industry’s most reputed and in-demand directors. The director proved his ability to make socially conscious films without compromising on the entertainment factor, which has gained him a widespread fan following.
The filmmaker graced the Captain Miller pre-release event with only three films old. The director is filming with Dhanush, marking their second collaboration after their first film, Karnan, in 2021. The director shared that he is scared to do a film with Dhanush after looking him in Captain Miller.
Mari also shared that the actor wanted to do a film bigger than Karnan with the director, which should be like Lokesh Kanagraj’s Kaithi and Vikram. He concluded his speech by saying their next collaboration will be his lifetime settlement kind of film.
Dhanush is the busiest actor 2024, with a handful of films lined up. After Captain Miller, he will be seen in D50, also directed by him, titled Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, while Mari Selvaraj will complete his upcoming project.
