Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated films in India this year. Primarily there seem to be two reasons for this uproar against the film.
One is the netizens’ view that Bollywood will always mock Hindus’ beliefs. In the Brahmastra trailer, too, Ranbir is seen ringing a temple bell with shoes on. People post these screenshots and blame the movie team for not respecting their sentiments. This is the first and small reason. The second reason that has played a crucial role behind the hashtag is the delay in investigating Sushanth Singh Rajput’s case. Ever since Sushant has passed away suspiciously, there have been demands for a proper and transparent investigation. Yet, after all these days, the officials were yet to figure out the suspects. This is irking the netizens a big time. In order to go out their anger, Brahmastra has become a target for them, as they are blaming the entire Bollywood as the reason behind Sushant’s demise. They are asking to Boycott Bollywood films, and as Brahmastra is the biggest BollywooSd film of this year, it has become the scapegoat on Social Media.
