Sensational Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently scored a debacle at the box office with the historical film Samrat Prithviraj. The film was made on a budget of over 300 Crore rupees, but unfortunately, the film ended up as a big disaster at the box office.
As per the trade sources, the makers will taste a loss of over 150 crore rupees. Since there is no use of film still running in theatres, the makers want to bring the film to the OTT platform early. An early OTT release for the film will surely help the makers particularly.
According to the latest reports in the media, the film will stream on Amazon Prime Video within four weeks of its release. Now, going by the same formula, the film might land on the streaming giant by the end of this month or the first week of July.
However, we hear that the makers and officials at the streaming giant are now planning to reconsider the same.
