BLACKPINK member LISA, stepping into acting, has been doing the rounds. Previously, it was reported that she would be starring in ‘The Walking Dead franchise. But now, it has been confirmed that she will join the massively talented ensemble of ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3.
The upcoming season, set to commence production in February, will be shot in the picturesque locations of Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok. While specific details about Manobal’s role and the plot remain under wraps, what’s known is that the story will introduce a fresh set of guests at another White Lotus property.
The White Lotus Season 3 was created, written, and directed by Mike White in collaboration with executive producers David Bernad and Mark Kamine. HBO has teamed up with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to promote the upcoming season. While the new season will be shot in Thailand, the first was set in Hawaii, and the second was shot in Sicily.
Lisa is set to join an already star-studded cast, which includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, Walton Goggins, Dom Hetrakul, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Julian Kostov, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood. The K-pop artist’s addition further raises anticipation for the upcoming season.
