Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s historical thriller Bimbisara is all set to hit the box office on August 5. Catherine Tresa is playing his love interest.
The film was directed by debutant Malladi Vashist. Kalyan Ram plays the titular character of Bimbisara, a demon king of the Magadha Kingdom. The film is based on true incidents. The first look poster and released teasers excited the fans, which is how the Kalyan Ram pulled off the demon look.
Billed to have a solid moral message, the tag line of the flick is ” A Time Travel from Evil to Good”. Meanwhile, Kalyan Ram was last seen in Enta Manchivaadavuraa, which was released in 2020.
Bimbisara also stars Samyuktha Menon, Warina Hussain, Vennela Kishore and others. The music was composed by Chirantan Bhatt. The film was bankrolled by Harikrishna K under NTR Arts Banner.
