Bollywood Actor cum filmmaker Ajay Devgn is kicking off 2023 with a new avatar in his upcoming and most challenging action-drama, Bholaa. On his last outing, Drishyam made more than 250 crores in the domestic market and still counting numbers.
For the unversed, the star had acquired remake rights to Karthi’s starrer Khaidi which became a blockbuster in its original Tamil version.
Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa is the remake of the Tamil movie Kaithi which was released in 2019 and was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Bholaa, also starring Tabu, is touted to be an emotional drama. It is Ajay Devgn’s fourth directorial. Makers unveiled the first look of Tabu in a fierce cop role today.
Bollywood star actor Ajay Devgn is basking in the success of his recently released film Drishyam 2 and is all set for yet another action entertainer.
This will be the second collaboration with Ajay following Drishyam 2’s success, and Tabu plays a fierce cop in Bholaa. Unveiling the motion poster and several looks of the actress, Ajay captioned it, ‘Ek khaki. Sau shaitaan’. Interestingly, Tabu also played a fierce cop in Kuttey, which was released just last Friday.
The film is produced by his banner Ajay Devgn Films, along with T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures. It will release in theatres on March 30, 2023.
