Ashley Johnson is the talented voice behind some of our favourite childhood cartoon shows like Gwen from Ben 10, Teen Titans, and Teen Titans Go. She’s the dubber of Shiseru from one of the greatest, most-watched animes in India and outside, Naruto. Aged 39, Ashley began her acting career in her teenage days in Growing Pains. As an adult, she continued, receiving a lot of value and success for her work. Today, she has grabbed the headlines for very personal reasons.
Brian Wayne Foster is an American author, poet, and singer who was Ashley’s long-term boyfriend. Together since 2012, they had come to the decision of an engagement in 2018. However, the world only saw the pretentious ‘ideal’ parts of their relationship that were nowhere close to reality. Ashley called it off with Brian when she couldn’t see a change in Brian’s abusive behavior. There were several instances of verbal abuse which soon became physical.
For her and her family’s safety, she had to get a restraining order against Brian. In the court documents, she deems her ex to have the ability to murder. It also mentions his addictive use of narcotics. “A few weeks or so before that respondent blocked me from Internet, access to all of my devices, including my cameras. My mother, my family, my friends, and others contacted me out of fear for my life. I was terrified. I vacated my home and stayed with my family.” alleges Ashley.
