Baby Locks has a very lengthy runtime; can the audience bear it?

Among the films coming to the audience this week, Baby is the one that has gained a lot of craze. The first look poster of this movie has brought a kind of curiosity. This is a film made by Sai Rajesh, who made his debut as a director with a satirical movie like Hrudaya Kaleyam.

A couple of songs from this movie released a few months ago created a sensation on YouTube and social media. The recently launched trailer has also gotten a good response. It is known that this movie, which has a good pre-release buzz, will be released on July 14. The censorship has also been completed.

Meanwhile, Baby KDMs have already been delivered to the US. From there, information about the length of this movie came out, and it surprised everyone. Reportedly, the movie is going to be released with a runtime of 2 hours and 58 minutes. A length of almost three hours makes it doubtful that audiences would be able to tolerate it these days. While films like Arjun Reddy and Mahanati have done wonders with a runtime of 3 hours, the recent Adipurush, with almost that runtime, has scored disaster.

Also, for a love film like Baby, such a length is too much. Movies like this would be better if they had a crisp run time. No matter how many twists and turns there are in the story, even if the emotions are worked out, it is a challenge to keep the audience sitting in the theatre for a long time. And what is Sai Rajesh’s confidence? That’s the question on everyone’s mind.
