The Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji made many hit films like Yeh Jawaani hain Deewani, Wake up Sid and the list goes on. He is often appreciated by the netizens for his conventional films. Though this director is appreciated for his work netizens often complained that he takes more time than the other directors. The director broke the silence and disclosed details of his upcoming projects.
Previously, the director informed in an interview that he will soon be done with his upcoming projects which are the sequences of Brahmastra. It is reported that he will be done finalizing the story for part 2 by the year’s end and will soon commence the shoot. The Director with immense gratitude and joy has posted a story and a post on Instagram addressing, how happy he is about the success of Brahmastra and the release dates of the film parts 2 and 3. He added, “The Universe has presented me with a very special opportunity recently – a very special movie – to step into and direct! What the movie is… More on that when the time is right” which implies it is going to take a while for the films to find its way to the theatres.
The director made it official through an Instagram story by stating, Brahmastra 2 will hit the theatres in 2026 followed by Brahmastra 3 in 2027.
