Film lovers of the entire globe were awestruck on December 18th of 2009. That’s the day the first part of Avatar was released and became an immediate sensation. James Cameron’s new cinematic world has taken the real world by storm. Now, after a decade, it’s the turn of the sequel to grab the attention. The movie’s promotions started on the 9th of this month by releasing the teaser trailer of the movie Avatar: The Way of the Water. Once again the James Cameron directorial seems to have weaved the magic in the imaginary Pandora world. As the first part was all about nature and trees, the second one is about the fight in the water. Its clearly shown in the trailer and indicates the water’s prominence in the movie, the trailer is painted blue. As the trailer indicates, this part is more about the family Jake has built over the period of time. According to sources, while releasing the trailer James Cameron has said that watching the sequel of Avatar will be a unique experience and they pushed the limits of VFX and technology further ahead in terms of quality.
Avatar is the highest-grossing film of all time with collections of a whopping $ 2.84 billion. In the sequel, Sam Worthington is back as Jake Sully, the leader of Na’vi. Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sigourney Weaver are reprising their roles from the first part. This time around, additional stars like Kate Winslet, Michelle Yeoh, and Vin Diesel are also joining the cast. The sequel is set to be released on December 16th of this year.
