The most anticipated science fiction drama film ”Asteroid City” was written directed and by critically acclaimed director Wes Anderson. His films are known for their eccentricity, unique style, and narrative style. The film premiered last night at the 76th Cannes Film Festival and all the cast were attended.
In 1955, students and parents gather for fellowship and scholarly competition in a fictional American desert that is disrupted by world-changing events. That vintage music is amazing and refreshing. Wes Anderson’s style is so distinctive that one can tell from the thumbnail it’s his film. Asteroid City received a 6-minute standing ovation at its world premiere from the audience at the 76th Cannes Film Festival and is competing for the prestigious award ”Palme d’Or”.
The film is such a masterpiece from the genius filmmaker and is set to be released by Focus Pictures theatrically on June 23.
