On the occasion of Yours Truly’s tenth anniversary, Ariana Grande has huge plans. On Saturday (August 19), the 30-year-old pop musician and actress shared on social media a week’s worth of surprises in honour of her 2013 first album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The Wicked actress said that the rollout will begin on Friday (August 25) with a deluxe digital edition of Yours Truly and freshly recorded live renditions of “Honeymoon Avenue” and “Daydreamin’.” The Instagram video she posted had a mixture of old and new material.
Grande will release the first segment of a Q&A and a merch capsule on Saturday, August 26. On Sunday, August 27, she will perform “Baby I” live. On Monday, August 28, the celebrations continue with a vague vinyl pre-order and part two of the Q&A. Two further live performances (“Tattooed Heart” and “Right There”) will take place on Tuesday, August 29.
The celebration comes to a close with a live rendition of “The Way” on Wednesday (Aug. 30), the 10th anniversary of the release of Yours Truly, as well as “some behind-the-scenes stuff we found,” the singer adds. Specifically, “the Live from London, updated versions of the songs we performed from” the album will be included in the Yours Truly Deluxe Digital Release, according to Grande in an Instagram Stories post. I can’t wait for you to hear them, the “7 Rings” singer continued. It was such a beautiful and healing project to work on.
Yours Truly, which was released on August 30, 2013, by Republic Records, was the tiny star with the big voice who, up until that point, had only been well-known to tweens as the star of Nickelodeon’s Victorious, its spinoff Sam & Cat, and Broadway’s 13.
