In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Nawazuddin Siddiqui talked about how he met Rishab Shetty last December and how he’s all praises about Kantara actor and director. He also added they spend some good time discussing cinema with Kantara at his house and surprisingly found he and Rishab had a lot in common to discuss about films that if they sit together they could talk endlessly about anything.
Continuing about the similarities he said, “Rishab does lot of theatre with his friends and also something special about us is our Gurus are same. We have known each other from earlier, we have spoken earlier. So when he was here, he came over and we spoke. He is in touch with theater, and thank God he is still connected to his roots, his traditional form, and even made a film about it. So since our Gurus are the same, we have had a good association, we are even friends now.”
when broached about the possibility of doing a collaboration with kantara actor, he answered that they even discussed about the possible collaboration and hinted saying may be for ‘Kantara2!! I can’t say anything but let us hope. wouldn’t it be wonderful to collaborate with such actor and director. Everyone in their team including Raj Shetty are very talented individuals. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is presently doing promotions for his about to release film Jogira Sara Ra Ra starring Neha Sharma as female lead. This movie which should’ve released on May 12 but has postponed its release date to 26th May reasoning out movie doesn’t want to clutter with The Kerala Story as its getting mixed reviews but is running successfully at box office.
Jogira Sara Rara is comedy feel good movie directed by Kusha Nandy written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali, directed by Naeema Siddiqui starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Neha Sharma in Leading roles. It also stars Sanjay Mishra and Mahaakshay Chakraborty in pivotal roles and is produced by Naeem Siddiqui under Kirsan Shroff’s Touchwood Multimedia Creations. Nawazuddin siddiqui is debuting in Tollywood doing an important role in Venkatesh Daggubati’s 75th untitled film.
