Anushka Shetty is all set to mesmerize the audience as Anvitha Shetty in the most anticipated romantic comedy film, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty. The film is about a women in her 40 ‘s who wants to have kids outside of marriage. It’s a comeback film for Anushka Shetty to act as a lead after the films Bhaagamathie and Nishabdham.
It is a romcom film written and directed by Mahesh Babu P. The film was initially scheduled to be released on 4 August 2023 but was postponed due to post-production delays. It was later confirmed that the film will be released on 7 September 2023.
Anushka fans are missing her at the promotions of Miss Shety and Mr. Polishetty as Naveen Polishetty single-handedly promoted the film on her behalf. Now, Anushka has shot a promotional interview with Suma Kankala, where she talked about the film only.
She portrayed the titular queen in the 2015 epic historical fiction Rudhramadevi, which won her the third Filmfare Award for Best Actress- Telugu. Shetty’s portrayal of Princess Devasena in the Baahubali series received widespread acclaim. While Baahubali: The Beginning is the seventh highest-grossing Indian film, its sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, is the second highest-grossing Indian film of all time and made her the highest-paid actress in South Indian cinema.
