Indian cricketer Virat Kohli made history on November 15 by breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record for most ODI centuries, and his partner Anushka Sharma couldn’t be happier. India will play the ICC T20 World Cup finals.
Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who was in the stands, supported her husband, Virat Kholi, and the Indian cricket team. She was the happiest as her husband made his 50th ODI century during the match in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Anushka took to Instagram to write an adorable note for the cricketer, calling him ‘God’s child’.
The proud wife took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of Virat and wrote, “God is the best scriptwriter! I am utterly grateful to him for blessing me with your love and letting me watch you grow from strength to strength and achieve all you have and will, always being honest to yourself and the sport. You are truly God’s child.”
The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress will star in the Biographical Sports Drama film Chakda Xpress, written by Abhishek Banerjee and directed by Prosit Roy. Her brother Karnesh Sharma is bankrolling the movie under the banner of Clean Slate Film. The film will mark the actress’s return to the screens after a 5-year hiatus, with her last film being Zero.
