Anil Kapoor, currently working in The Night Manager project revealed how much Padman’s actor Akshay Kumar charges to appear in a single episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. Before we understand where the comment comes from, a little backstory will help.
Currently, The Kapil Sharma Show’s finale episode is about to air on television soon, in which Anil Kapoor with his co-actors will be joining Kapil Sharma for some fun time. Sony Entertainment uploaded a promo about the finale episode where Kapil was seen pulling Anil Kapoor’s leg about appearing in the finale episode for the second time, first in 2022 for Jug Jugg Jeeyo, and now for The Night Manager Part 2. Kapil cheekily says in the video clip, “Do you like finale shows or do you just enjoy watching people shut down their work?” to which Anil Kumar pointedly but jokingly added, “Akshay Kumar gets the work started, right? He charges money but I do it for free.” With this, Kapil had absolutely nothing to say.
Although there’s no specific revelation about how much Akshay Kumar charges Kapil to appear on his shows, the Rowdy Rathore actor is said to charge between 1.5 and 2 crores for every special or guest appearance. Shockingly, it is higher than Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
