Even though he is a Malayalam star, Prithviraj Sukumaran is known all over South India. His directorial ventures, too, are getting remade in other languages, including Telugu. There were rumors for the past few days about his portrayal in Prabhas’s Salaar, even though there was no official announcement regarding the same. At last, Prithvi has opened up about this and revealed that he was approached for a role in Prashant Neel’s directorial and found the script mind-blowing. But owing to the date clashes, the confirmation of his role in the movie will be announced after sitting with Neel, said the Mallu star.
According to the movie team, the meeting occurred between Prithviraj and Prashant Neel. They say that the official announcement will be out soon in one or two days, and there is every possibility of Sukumaran being the antagonist in the flick. Already, Jagapathi Babu was roped as an antagonist. There could possibly be two villains against Prabhas, say the sources. But it all depends on the adjustment of dates between Prithviraj and Prabhas. They say Neel is very much confident in roping the former. Let’s wait and see.
